Description (growth habits, light requirements & care): A medium-sized evergreen tree growing 20-30 feet tall, but can be kept shorter with pruning. Prefers full sun to partial shade and moist to wet soils. Ideal for landscaping near water sources such as lakes.  

How you can help by planting this: Provides berries for birds and mammals, and nectar for pollinators  

Flower and Fruit (color, characteristics, season): Small, white flowers bloom in spring, followed by bright red berries in fall and winter.  

Pairs well with: Pond Apple, Cocoolum, Seagrape, Green and Silver Buttonwood.
