Botanical Name: Lantana involucrata 

Description (growth habits, light requirements & care): A native Florida Shrub that grows 3-5 feet tall by 1-5 feet wide. Prefers full sun and well-drained, sandy soils. Drought-tolerant once established. Buttonsage prefers sunny, dry conditions and is deer resistant and salt and drought tolerant. It's a good choice for butterfly gardens and can also be used as a low hedge. 

How you can help by planting this: Supports pollinators with its vibrant flowers and provides habitat for small wildlife.  

Flower and Fruit (color, characteristics, season): Clusters of small orange to yellow flowers bloom from late spring through summer, attracting pollinators.  

Pairs well with: Florida Shrub Throughwort, Coral Honeysuckle, Tropical Sage, and Blue Porterweed for a bright, pollinator-friendly garden.
